Introduction to School Based Student Reporting (SBSR) software
The Department has developed software to support the generation of student reports. The School Based Student Reporting software is a web-based application and has been available since 16 October 2006.

If they wish, schools can choose to use the SBSR software instead of other methods for generating reports. However, as with most software, the benefits of the SBSR software are maximised when users have undergone appropriate training. Regional Support Teams will be conducting training for schools which have expressed interest in using SBSR in 2008. Principals who wish to attend or have staff attend this training should contact the SBSR Regional Support Team in their regional office.
It should be noted that school staff cannot access the software until they have been authorised as users by their Principal. The training conducted by regions will include how Principals authorise staff access to SBSR. For contact details of regional support personnel click here
