Reporting to parents

The following SBSR4 report templates are available to guide schools in making a decision about the use of SBSR4 and to assist them to select a report format to use within the software. Templates on this page provide variations for students with learning adjustments or ESL.

Schools can also choose to download and use these 'Word' documents to manually enter student achievement and comments instead of using the SBSR3 software for generating reports.

An ESL Reporting Scale has been developed to ensure consistent reporting of ESL achievement across NSW government schools.

The ESL Reporting Scale shows the full range of English language skills required for learning at school. The ESL Reporting Scale describes students at varying levels of achievement, from the beginning level, ESL1, to the highest level, ESL 6. Click here for a description of the scale used.

These 'Word' documents can be used to generate other report variants. Schools can copy sections from one reporting template to another to generate a reporting variant.

A Learning Adjustment Scale has been developed to ensure consistent reporting of Learning Adjustment students across NSW government schools.

This scale has been developed for students who have learning needs that require access to curriculum content that is different to that of their age peer group. The scale describes students at varying levels of achievement from P1 (Beginning) to P4 (Independent). Click here for a description of the scale used.
