A few good ideas for managing the Science laboratory

 | Safety labels Rutherford High School, Maitland District Safety labels on very small containers, such as dropper bottles, need only contain the chemical's name or designated code, as long as the required safety information is provided on a larger container used to hold a set of the very small containers. For further advice, refer to Section 1.4.3 of Chemical Safety in Schools (CSIS). |
 | Portable soldering iron stations Ariah Park Central School, Griffith District Students find these safe and convenient to use. The bull dog clip acts as an extra hand. The metal coil keeps the hot tip in a safe location when not being used. |
 | Storing safety glasses Mt Austin High School, Wagga Wagga District Constructed from plywood. Each laboratory has two of these, mounted conveniently on the walls. A quick glance is all that is needed to see if students have returned their glasses. |
