The program supports schools to participate in a solar energy trial. Schools accepted to the program are provided with a photovoltaic (PV) array, generally located on the roofs of existing buildings. This provides a valuable resource to raise awareness of green energy technologies and reduce overall electricity usage. Students can access the PV array, monitoring equipment and  a wide range educational support resources.
