The concept of a skill map is critical in determining that all skills are explicitly covered and rehearsed over a stage. Skills are often scaffolded by the learning that has preceeded.  For that reason the skill mapping presented reflect one schools efforts in their context.

Program evaluation instrument

This instrument identifies some features you might expect to find in an ideal unit written for the new Stage 4-5 syllabus. Use the instrument when:
- planning the next stage in the ongoing development of your own programs
- evaluating a program as part of a registration process
- deciding whether to keep, adapt or discard an old favourite
- evaluating commercial packages, or units you are considering adopting and/or adapting from elsewhere.  (68KB)
