Simulated HSC Marking

A Virtual Marking Experience

During 2007 and 2008 the Science Unit have been piloting a series of workshops using videoconferencing  facilities to deliver a simulated experience of being involved in HSC marking.

Teachers and/or students become part of a marking team and mark real scripts under the guidance of a senior marker. They share their impressions of student work samples and debate the merits of work in coming to a consistent understanding of the students’ performance.
