Consistent Teacher Judgement in PDHPE (CTJ PDHPE) online course

This online course aims to provide you with support in assessing and making judgements about student achievement of outcomes and further developing your understanding of quality assessment practices in PDHPE. The program targets PDHPE teachers who have a commitment to improving their current teaching and assessment practices.

The following online modules are available to support the teaching of PDHPE:

Critiquing your PDHPE Years 7-10 program

A range of critiquing tools have been developed with the purpose to guide faculties through a reflection and evaluation process of their scope and sequence and units of work. The tools pose a range of critical reflection questions to allow teachers to explore whether the PDHPE program meets syllabus requirements, as well as providing students with relevant, challenging and engaging learning experiences. The following module provides detailed explanations of the steps in critiquing your PDHPE program as well as templates of documents for use with your faculty during the critiquing process.

New ideas for teaching Stage 6 PDHPE

This module will explore different strategies for teaching the PDHPE HSC course. Opportunities to share ideas and strategies that work with other teachers will be built in as a key feature of this online module.

Innovative ideas for teaching PDHPE in Years 7-10

It is timely now to reflect on the implementation of the Years 7-10 PDHPE syllabus and think about new, innovative and engaging ways of teaching the syllabus content in order to make it relevant and intriguing for students. This link will provide you with some practical ideas for different ways to present content in order to get students critically thinking about what they are learning.
