Macarthur Girls' High School
Macarthur Girls' High School is situated on the Parramatta River next to Parramatta City. The school population is approximately 970 students. Fifty-nine per cent of the students are classified as being from non-English-speaking backgrounds. For many of the students, the practical lessons in PDHPE and the traditional sports afternoon are the only opportunities they get to be active.

Moss Vale High School
Moss Vale High School is a comprehensive secondary school that provides an education for a large number of students in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. PDHPE is taught by the seven specialist teachers within the faculty, which includes the Deputy Principal. The school operates on a fortnightly timetable with the school day broken into six fifty-minute periods.

Rooty Hill High School
Rooty Hill High School is a comprehensive community secondary school in Western Sydney committed to excellence in leading, learning and participation. The school population is 975 students drawn from 44 ethnic backgrounds and a wide socio-economic spectrum. There is a significant Aboriginal enrolment. In recent years, the school has been recognised for its strong values platform and the associated programs and practices including the establishment of a Learning Neighbourhood with its feeder primary schools. The PDHPE faculty consists of six full time teachers with between three and 13 years teaching experience. PDHPE classes have four 76 minute lessons over a two week cycle.

St Johns' Park High School
St Johns' Park High School is situated in South West Sydney and caters for approximately 1200 students from 40 different cultural groups. The major groups are from the Middle East and South East Asia. 78% of the student population are from a non-English speaking background. PDHPE is timetabled as four 52-minute periods across a fortnight divided into two theory and two practical periods per cycle. Practical and theory are taught separately because of timetable restrictions and facility availability.
