Rethinking the teaching of games and sports

This link will provide you with current research on the teaching of games and sports and outline processes for teachers to start rethinking how they teach games and sport in PE, challenging the notion of games being only for those with natural sporting ability.

You can also find a range of examples of games lessons that gradually build understanding of the game categories included in the PDHPE Years 7-10 syllabus.

Teaching indigenous games in PDHPE

This link provides access to a sample unit of work that has been developed using the Australian Sports Commission's Traditional Indigenous Games resource.
