Interactive whiteboard lesson sequences

There are a variety of IWB lesson sequences available on TaLE. A brief description and the links are outlined below.

Clash of cultures

The characters in the film Bend it like Beckham face many challenges, including a clash of cultural beliefs. The strategies and skills used by the characters to overcome these challenges will be explored by students to make judgements about their usefulness in situations that each student may experience. Designed for use with an interactive whiteboard (IWB). Click here

Stereotypes

The activities in 'Stereotypes' explore strategies and skills used by the characters in the film Bend it like Beckham to overcome challenges, including those related to gender stereotypes, to then assess the usefulness of those strategies and skills in situations that students themselves may experience. They are designed for use with an interactive whiteboard (IWB). Click here

Categorising games

'Categorising games' has activities that focus on games within the four categories of invasion, net/court, striking/fielding and target. They are designed for use with an interactive whiteboard (IWB). Click here

Invasion games- soccer
