Crossroads – Intimate relationships is a media-rich resource that explores issues of health and sexuality. Students are drawn into the learning process through interactive activities, video, audio and flash animations. Footage from Family Planning NSW of young people and health professionals helps place the learning in contemporary life. Ten stand alone sections allow students to create their own learning path. • Where can I get info or help? • I think I might be pregnant • Contraception • STIs – what’s that down there? • What is safe? • Terminology • Getting a check up • Thoughts, feelings and actions • Who’s doing what with whom? • Frequently asked questions. Extensive teacher support material, including ‘How to get whole school support’ and ‘Maximising participation’ helps you to implement an effective Crossroads program in your school.
