Interactive graphs
Graphs are used extensively in all Stage 6 mathematics courses. This resource explores the types of activities that can be used in developing mathematics concepts using a graphing utility.
GeoGebra
GeoGebra, developed by Markus Hohenwarter, is a software package available from the internet which operates across different computer platforms using Java and is free. It is a very useful piece of software for the mathematics classroom bringing together dynamic geometry, coordinate geometry, algebra and calculus. The coordinate geometry or algebraic component addresses a wider range of topics than the usual dynamic geometry software packages. GeoGebra can be downloaded from www.geogebra.org/download.
