The GeoGebra for beginners online course is now available to all NSW DET teachers as an online course. This means you can learn when and where you want and you don’t need to wait for another course to be run. You can complete the course in your own time frame.
GeoGebra for beginners online is a NSW Institute registered, non-facilitated online professional learning course. The focus of the course is the dynamic mathematics software, GeoGebra. The knowledge and skills that you acquire in this course will help you to implement the NSW Digital Education Revolution program in your classroom. This online course is the same course that has been offered previously in the video conference format.
Course overview
The course is divided into 3 parts:
1. Reflect on how and where technology-based activities can be used to support mathematics learning |
2. Explore the GeoGebra ‘universe’ and discover the many educational opportunities this software offers you and your students |
3. Develop foundation-level skills in creating dynamic resources for the classroom |
