This one day workshop will focus on the big picture of mathematics education in our classrooms, schools and universities, and also the detail of how we are helping individual students to develop as confident mathematicians. The workshops will showcase our statewide numeracy and mathematics projects as well as programs which have been developed or adapted by teachers, school communities, regions or universities.
Workshop sessions will include:

Space and geometry | Learning Objects |
Measurement | Stage 6 syllabus development |
Assessment | Primary programming |
Fractions | Leading & managing the curriculum in mathematics |
Teachers who wish to register for this workshop need to be approved by the Principal to attend.
This workshop is available to NSW DET teachers and pre-service teachers only. Registrations close five working days before the scheduled workshop.

Once registration is completed, participants will receive workshop confirmation, details of the venue and an agenda.
A registration fee of $110 per day (incl. GST) for government schools will be charged for each participant. This fee includes morning tea and lunch and all workshop materials.
