Research, curriculum and professional development are all interrelated in the mathematics projects carried out in schools.
Professional learning activities
During 2008, the Mathematics Unit Curriculum K-12 Directorate will be presenting one-day and two-day workshops for mathematics teachers, supplementing the workshops provided by regional consultants. While the Creating Mathematical Partnerships workshops target all mathematics teachers, the Head teacher mathematics workshops target mathematics head teachers and teachers aspiring to be head teachers. Supporting new scheme mathematics teachers workshop targets teachers in their first three years of teaching.
