NSW Constitution
Civics continues to be a prominent issue in contemporary society. This site aims to provide information about the NSW Constitution for students and the community. The Civics component of the NSW HSIE Syllabuses K-12 requires students to study structure of government. This is an essential part of being an informed citizen, understanding how the "rules" work. In the future, students of today may be called upon to take part in Constitution-making (a referendum). One way to begin this study is to look at the features of the NSW Constitution.

One world, many democracies; citizens of the world
This site is a collection of collaborative online projects for schools across a broad age range. The projects are international in focus and they are intended to:

  • aid the teaching of Civics and Citizenship
  • assist in the development of internet projects for school.

Speak soft, speak sure
Speak soft, speak sure is a teaching and learning unit about tolerance using information technologies. It is based on a number of HSIE syllabuses; examining values and attitudes related to human rights issues, concentrating on prejudice and xenophobia.
