English Years 7-10 Syllabus (including Life Skills)
The new syllabus, accompanied by a four-page introduction and draft descriptions of levels of achievement, was distributed to schools in October 2002 for implementation in Years 7 and 8 from 2004, in Year 9 from 2005 and in Year 10 from 2006. Support materials providing advice on programming, sample introductory units of work and sample assessment tasks illustrating assessment for learning were distributed in November 2002.
