Stage 6 Resources

• NSW HSC Online: English  Units of work and support material have been specifically written for students in all HSC English courses. NSW HSC Online was developed to provide support resources for HSC students, their teachers and parents. Currently the web site contains resources to support the teaching of 44 HSC subjects and 68 courses. All material has been developed by NSW Department of Education and Training teachers and consultants and quality assured by the Curriculum K-12 Directorate.  The Professional Development area of the web site provides resources and opportunities for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge in online learning and teaching. The Professional Portfolios section assists teachers in the development of documents to reflect their professional profiles.

• Navigator are new interactive research tools developed by the State Library of NSW. The HSC English Navigator contains details about web sites, online databases and books that are relevant to the HSC curriculum. It also includes instructions on how to get the best out of these resources.

• Infocus links students studying the HSC with information from the State Library of New South Wales. Schools and public libraries may become Infocus members for a small subscription fee. There is also a fee for the items requested. Phone: 02 9273 1519
