2010 Workshops Terms 1 and 2- Simulated HSC Marking 1 day workshops
The HSC marking process is replicated in these workshops to immerse teachers in the experience of marking Sections 2 and 3 of Standard/Advanced Paper 1. This workshop is suitable for teachers who are yet to mark these sections, or indeed any section of HSC English, for teachers new to teaching Stage 6 or those who just need a refresher. Teachers will learn how to use marking guidelines, benchmark and sample scripts and other strategies to mark accurately, consistently and fairly.

This workshop is suitable for teachers who are yet to mark these sections, or indeed any section of HSC English (ESL), for teachers new to teaching Stage 6 ESL or those who just need a refresher. Teachers will learn how to use marking guidelines, benchmark and sample scripts and other strategies to mark accurately, consistently and fairly.’
- Digital Education Revolution Laptops for Learning 1 day workshops.
This second round of DER workshops is suitable to teachers new to Laptops for Learning or teachers wanting to consolidate the learning they started in 2009. The workshops will be slightly different to the 2009 workshops but still very hands-on and practical. Teachers will learn the best ways of using various software applications in English.
