Harmony Film Festival

The Harmony Film Festival and its associated educational initiatives promote harmony, respect and understanding through meaningful filmmaking. The Festival incorporates film camps, outback film schools for Aboriginal communities and educational programs for secondary and tertiary students.

As a medium, film is familiar and accessible to young people and can be used not just to entertain, but also to educate and uplift. Getting students involved in making a film fosters creative thinking, planning and teamwork. For details contact the festival on 02-95597098 or email info@harmonyfilmfest.com

Bundanon Trust

bundanon logo The Bundanon Trust offers residential and day education programs inspired by the cultural, environmental and architectural heritage of the Bundanon and Riversdale properties. Primary and secondary school students can explore the artistic heritage of Arthur Boyd and his family through a tour of his house and studio, as well as visit the Collection Study Centre and the studio of an artist in residence. Schools are able to visit for a day trip or stay longer for a residential art, design or music camp, accommodated in our award winning Glenn Murcutt-designed Education Centre. Our workshops offer a range of approaches to visual art and design practice. Programs are available in a range of disciplines including visual and performing arts, and design & technology. We also offer teacher professional development retreats and children’s arts workshops during holiday periods.

Bundanon works with a range of community organizations through its’ Outreach program. The needs of youth within the Shoalhaven and regional communities are addressed through programs which offer positive learning experiences through engagement with creative arts education. The Adopt a Schools program offers disadvantaged schools the opportunity to attend a funded residential program. Interested schools may apply through our website.
