Visual Arts Digital Media Project
The Visual Arts Digital Media Project has been developed to support visual arts teachers in metropolitan and regional areas of New South Wales to implement and integrate Information and Communication Technologies into visual arts courses.
- The workshop program: Workshops conducted in 2003 have provided visual arts teachers with access to collegial expertise in the field of digital media. Each program has involved sequential learning experiences, incorporating basic and advanced skills in a range of software programs.
- Workshop programs were developed with the generosity of the following presenters:
Peter Maynard, Visual Arts teacher, Cherrybrook Technology High School - Liz Germani, Ron Pratt and Sharron Fear, Visual Arts Dept, Wyndham College
- Lesley Rae, Head Teacher, Creative Arts, James Cook Boys High School
- Peter Aland, Head Teacher, Creative Arts and Jacqui Carolan, Visual Arts teacher, Dubbo Senior Campus
- Online tutorials: Each presenter has written an online tutorial to complement the workshop program. Tutorials will develop skills and knowledge in digital manipulation, video editing and animation. These tutorials will be progressively uploaded to this site.
