Artist in schools
| The CREATIVE EDUCATION PARTNERSHIPS: ARTIST IN SCHOOLS PROGRAM has been developed in conjunction with The Australia Council for the Arts and Arts NSW. It is a four-year grants program, that commenced in 2009. The term 'artist' encompasses artists in all art forms of dance, drama, media, music, visual arts and also includes creative writing. The overall aim of the program is to provide students, teachers, parents and the wider community with first-hand opportunities to work with professional artists over a period of time, enriching school arts programs and encouraging future artists and arts audiences in all art forms. Each school is encouraged to apply for a project that targets the specific needs of their students. Examples of targets might include:

Who is eligible to apply?
Individual NSW public schools, clusters of NSW public schools and artists collaborating with NSW public schools are invited to apply.
PLEASE NOTE: The application process for 2013 projects is yet to be advised.
