Standards-referenced approach to assessment
The introduction of the New HSC in 2000 resulted in changes to assessment practice from the norm-referenced approach to a standards-referenced approach.
The professional development modules offered here have been specifically written for secondary teacher-librarians who collaborate with classroom teachers to support teaching, learning and assessment for the New HSC. They have been designed as self-directed modules that could be used in a range of professional development settings, from working individually in a school, to working in teams within district teacher-librarian networks.
