OASIS Library
The OASIS library automated system, as used in NSW government schools, means that accessioning and cataloguing of resources can be managed in many ways, based on needs situations found in individual schools.
The OASIS Library introductory training program, OASIS Library stocktake and the series of 5 OASIS reference manuals are available on the intranet version of this site, in the Policy and publications section. The Schools System website has manuals and information on using OASIS, including patches for fixing problems.
Once you have records from SCIS you may find this flowchart on downloading the records to OASIS useful.
Information about a one day training course are listed on the professional learning page of the School Libraries and Information Literacy section of the Curriculum K-12 site.
