	Occupational Health and Safety Policy This policy has been updated (9/2/2004) to reflect changes in legislation governing OH&S in NSW. It sets out the OH&S requirements and the DET commitment to ensure a safe and healthy working and learning environment.

	Occupational health, safety and injury management. NSW DET 1999 This guide provides a comprehensive range of information and advice for principals and other staff members to develop or revise their own workplace procedures and guidelines for occupational health and safety. Sample policies and forms for register of injuries are included as well as staff development materials. Also included are checklists for health and safety programs and duties of employers and employees.

	Chemical Safety in Schools This is the Department’s Intranet version of Chemical Safety in Schools (CSIS). CSIS is a resource package that promotes the development of effective workplace practices and details procedures which must be implemented by schools in response to the Occupational Health and Safety (Hazardous Substances) Regulation 1996, the Dangerous Goods Act 1975 and the Dangerous Goods Regulation 1978.
