NSW Department of Education and Training

This is an awards scheme, run by the Science Teachers' Association of New South Wales (STANSW), to encourage students from K to 12, to undertake and present an authentic scientific investigation.

Students can enter, individually or as a team, in one of four sections: Years K-2, Years 3-6, Years 7-9 or Years 10-12.

The awards  are designed to support elements of the NSW:

• K-6 Science and Technology Syllabus
• Science Years 7-10 Syllabus,
• Stage 6 science syllabuses - (Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Physics and Senior Science)
