Road Safety

Teaching and learning activities for primary schools

Road safety education needs to be developmentally appropriate, ongoing and sequential from Kindergarten to Year 6. The PDHPE K–6 Syllabus includes specific road safety content in each stage within the Safe Living strand. The following teaching and learning activities are from the Move Ahead with Street Sense resource.

Stage 1 (Incorporating Early Stage 1)

Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4)

Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6)
