Mathematics K-6 professional learning activities - Semester 2

The mathematics unit is offering the following workshops in Semester 2 2009, to further support the implementation of the K-6 Mathematics syllabus. Further information will be available during term 1, 2009.

An Introduction to Count Me In Too Follow up This workshop will be a one day follow-up to the two day Introduction to Count Me In Too workshop held at Moree, 13-14 May 2009. Creating mathematical partnerships K-12 This one day workshop will focus on the big picture of mathematics education in our classrooms, schools and universities, showcasing Curriculum K-12 mathematics state wide numeracy and mathematics projects. Teaching patterns and algebra K-6 This practical one day workshop will support teacher professional learning in the patterns and algebra strand in Mathematics K-6. Event 8197	Northern Sydney	Ryde	Wednesday 5 August 2009

NOTE FOR 2009 WORKSHOPS

A registration fee of $110 (incl. GST) for government schools will be charged for each participant. This fee includes morning tea and lunch and all workshop materials.
Teachers who wish to register for any of the advertised workshops need to be approved by the principal to attend the professional development workshop.
Cost of teacher relief should be met through school professional learning funds.
Registrations close five working days before the scheduled workshop.
