Awards, Scholarships and Competitions
Scholarships are offered to both primary and secondary teachers for German, Korean and Spanish for short term or long term stay in the target country. All language teachers are urged to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the foreign government awards program. Exposure to the use of the language in a country where it is a normal means of communication is the best way of attaining truly high level skills in that language. The demands of essential, every day interaction in another language provide the crucial broadening and deepening of language competencies that upper-level skills require.
