State of the Arts - curriculum essentials for primary 1 and 2
Teaching Drama K-6
A three session suite of primary drama workshops are scheduled in selected regions in Semester 2 2009. The programme will involve two video conference sessions plus a practical workshop for primary teachers. These professional learning sessions will focus on implementing the Drama syllabus, exploring effective strategies and also strategies for assessment in drama.

Music Count Us In video conference series
Following the success of the 2008 professional learning program to support Music Count Us In, One Day, One Song, ten statewide events will take place using video conferencing to deliver professional learning in Music, prior to the Music Count Us In event in August 2009. Further professional learning opportunities will be offered to support teaching strategies for singing.
