This aspect of the PDHPE website provides teachers with the implementation guidelines for the road safety education policy and support for teaching and learning about road safety.
The leading cause of death and serious injury for young children is traffic-related crashes. To promote the health and wellbeing of children in the traffic environment, school PDHPE programs should include a significant road safety focus.

Limiting risks, protecting lives aims to stimulate teachers’ thinking around how they challenge student attitudes and behaviours as pdrivers and passengers in motor vehicles.
