Welcome to Curriculum related policies
One of the core functions of the Curriculum K-12 Directorate is to provide leadership and advice in a number of curriculum-related policy areas. Within the Directorate’s structure are units which can provide support in specific cross-curriculum policies and priorities, such as
- curriculum planning, assessing and reporting to parents
- literacy
- environmental education
- the education of gifted and talented students
- road safety education and
- support for school libraries and librarians.
The Directorate also has officers who can provide advice on other policies, such as religious education in schools, homework and animal welfare.
