Environmentally Sustainable Schools
Environmentally Sustainable Schools is the Department of Education & Training strategy for implementing the Environmental Education Policy for schools. It is a linking policy and aims to foster partnerships between government departments to support programs and initiatives, develop close links between directorates within the department so policy, implementation and educational aspects of sustainability are consistent, and support schools, teachers and kids with improved resources, planning, links with the community and professional learning in sustainability education.
