Environmental Education Grants, Competitions and student activities
There are many financial support opportunities available to school communities. Many of these grants will have a specific focus eg Land Care, Community Water grants. Research the grant using the information supplied by the provider on their website, consult your school, local community or local Environmental Education Centre (EEC) to give your submission a better chance through discussing the contents of your application.
Note closing dates for applications. For more advice contact the DET Environmental Education Unit or your nearest EEC.
Competitions are another way students or your school community can develop individual or school based environmental action.
