Director's message

Welcome to Curriculum Support, the website of the NSW Department of Education and Training Curriculum K-12 Directorate.

Through this site we aim to support teachers to enhance their teaching and professional learning, and to improve student learning in NSW public schools. The site provides a range of curriculum support and professional learning resources that span K-12, the key learning areas, literacy and numeracy, student assessment and reporting to parents, gifted and talented education, environmental education and school library support.

Curriculum Support reflects the belief that quality support leads to quality teaching and to quality educational leadership and management in schools. Through this website we aim to develop authentic partnerships with its users, to enhance our services and to contribute to improved student learning and teacher professional knowledge and skill.

I invite you to take time to explore the site and, if you wish, to provide feedback on it. With such feedback we can maintain and improve, helpful and professional site that will contribute to improved teaching and learning in NSW public schools.
