It is a teaching and learning unit designed for secondary students and developed by UNICEF (Australia) and the New South Wales Department of Education and Training. Teaching and learning activities The teaching and learning activities have been designed to be independent of each other. They can, however, be completed as supplementary activities as part of the normal class work. The overall length of the unit may preclude one class completing all activities. Schools are encouraged to communicate with each other using the listserv and to divide the work or to develop a time frame for the unit suitable to the needs of students and the school. The activities require Internet access time for the students.
