AusAID, the Australian Agency for International Development, is responsible for the management of the official Australian Government overseas aid program. It is an administratively autonomous agency within the Foreign Affairs and Trade Portfolio. This means that it reports to the Australian Parliament through the Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Foreign Affairs.

AusAID head office is in Canberra. It also has representatives in 25 Australian diplomatic missions overseas.
