Count Me In Too

Remainders Count

Purpose: To create an equation from 3 numbers to make the largest remainder. The basis of multiplication and division relies on the student's ability to coordinate groups.

Enter a number into each of the white squares in the range 1-100 on the hundred chart. Once you have entered a number into each of the white squares, click the "spin" button to spin the overlay and reveal more white squares to fill in. Use all three overlays and spin each one four times, entering the numbers in the white squares as you go.

(Teacher discuss the patterns that may occur as the hundreds chart is completed.)
