This material has been developed to assist school leaders in workshops with staff in planning for and implementing the moderation process when analysing student work samples.

School leaders may choose to use this material to run sessions at staff, stage or faculty meetings, staff development days.
Each workshop has a PowerPoint presentation, presenter's notes and downloadable materials.
This option provides the background to development of new policy advice. It looks at the Federal legislative requirements and Departmental policy. The option examines and allows staff to engage with material that will assist in implementing the policy.

Teachers will be able to reflect on current and required practice by using the self evaluation matrix and provide feedback to inform further planning for implementation.

Each school will need to access their relevant sector’s policy on reporting to parents.
